Bot Attack on Product Hunt?
I launched WellyBox Upcoming page on PH, and after 1 day we have 35 subscribers.
1 is me.
1 is Evyatar
1 is a normal subscriber
And 32 bots!!!
had anyone experienced anything like that on PH?
I saw the number of subscribers for other upcoming products, so I felt like it's a great platform for WellyBox to generate leads before launching.
Is that a scam?
I had a bunch of seemingly Russian bots sign up for a small US based barbershop’s newsletter before. I don’t know what the strategy is. Deleted them. Let me know if you discover anything.
Maybe it was some software that wasn't supposed to upvote you. I've heard bots voting is common on PH.
