Boxing Ear and Cauliflower Ear
Headgear that protects your head can help stop this ailment from occurring. While it won't shield your ear from direct contact, it will prevent injuries to the ear. Headgear is not required for boxing or MMA bouts. However there are some fighters who do not wear headgear while training. If you're not sure of the safety precautions you should take, talk to your boxing or MMA instructor.
