Brainstorming: How to know what idea to work on next?
I need some feedback on the following. Ideas come and go every day, but how do you know if this idea is worth the effort? What, say 5, questions do you need to ask yourself to understand whether it is worth spending your time working on the next idea?
On Twitter and Telegram, I received some feedback I would like to share here.
If the idea was already implemented by someone, a good indicator of the market fit. It means do the competitor analysis;
The next tip. More often we think that the idea is unique. This is not true until proven. Start with the belief that someone has already had the same idea and if there is no product then there is no market.
The first question you should ask yourself is:
Are you passionate about the idea? Any idea will be hard to implement so its important that you love it
Here is another tip. Do you consider yourself an expert in the field? If yes, then you may adequately assess the idea, if not then there is a high possibility that the idea is going to be a waste of time.
