Breakdown of the Open Project animated logo

Hi!

I'm a graphic designer from Hong Kong. I have worked with companies, university, and societies. From the post which I design a logo for startups (https://www.indiehackers.com/post/ask-me-to-design-a-animated-logo-for-your-startup-7435cb5640?commentId=-N3c9V-ZRznLa_LQ4Uex), I made an animated logo for one called Open Project, which is a subscription business for designers and developers.

Here is the logo animation.

Let me breakdown this animation:

  1. A cluster of sqaures scaling up in a random order
  2. The scaled up sqaures fill up the entire scene
  3. Reveal the logo by a mask in the shape of the logo scaling down in the center
  4. Reveal the name with sliding motion

To make it random in an efficient way, I made a few groups of sqaures so that I can fill up the scene like Tetris, the only things I need to adjust are the motions of the three sqaures in the colors of the logo.

Hope you like it.
Here are my works if you're interested.
