Breaking Into Indie Hacking: My First Productized Service Launch
Hey everyone! Just got the awesome news from Courtland that I’m officially a full-fledged IHER! 🎉 I wanted to share my journey and my new service with you all.
I always thought becoming a successful indie hacker meant being a top-notch developer with tons of experience. But I realized that starting simple is key. So, I’ve launched a productized service focused on speed optimization for Shopify sites.
Why speed optimization? In the world of e-commerce, every millisecond counts. Faster sites mean better user experience and potentially higher sales. I’m offering this service for $99—no subscriptions, no renewals. My goal is to sell this 10 times a month to hit my initial $1K target.
I validated this idea on Fiverr and found there’s a market for it. I’m not seeing many people offering it as a standalone service outside Fiverr, so I see an opportunity here.

Hi Rahul, based on what you said here, It sounds like a good idea you're working on. I checked out your website. I think you need to define who your target audience is, is it developers that develop Shopify websites or Shopify owners?
If it's for Shopify owners directly, then the content on the website should be tailored to them. I see a lot of huge terms on your website that only developers would understand, and most Shopify website owners are just small business owners, probably.
So it would be best if you emphasized benefits more than features. Just an observation, great work though.
