Bringing Yumzy to iOS – Cooking with AI, One Tap Away

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I'm currently building the iOS version of Yumzy, our voice-powered AI cooking assistant that helps users generate, save, and manage recipes — all through natural conversation and a clean, distraction-free interface.

We launched the web app a while ago (try it here 👉 https://yumzy.orionthcomp.tech) and quickly realized that mobile is where Yumzy truly belongs.

People don’t cook with a laptop on the counter. They cook with their phone next to the stove.

That’s why the iOS app is a huge step for us — not just for convenience, but to make Yumzy truly accessible and useful in the real world.

What the iOS app will include:

  • Voice-activated recipe search
  • Personal recipe book to save and organize meals
  • Shareable recipe links
  • AI-generated, cleanly formatted instructions
  • A focused, clutter-free mobile UI
    We’re also planning:

Ingredient-based suggestions
Multilingual voice input
Smart cooking assistant features
If you're building in a similar space or have experience launching voice-first apps on iOS, I’d love to connect and hear your thoughts. And if you're just curious, feedback is always welcome!

Let’s build AI that’s not just smart — but practical.
Thanks for reading!
