Bruno – the front page for your curiosities

I’m building Bruno, an information-sharing network that introduces you to ideas that help you discover your curiosities.

My general insight is that people are naturally hungry to unpack their curiosities alongside their peers but are underserved by traditional educational institutions (credentialism trumps exploration) and overwhelmed by the abyss and noise of today’s internet (generative AI is only making this worse).

My goal is to create the most reliable destination for learning about something new, where you don’t have to constantly wade through high-calorie, low-intellectual value content.

Here’s how it works:

  • Build an archive of links to essays, podcasts, and videos you don’t have time to read, listen to, or watch
  • Bruno will learn your interests, parse through the noise, and recommend the five ideas from your saved links you should dive into each week
  • If you contribute three fresh links to the Bruno community, you’ll receive five additional recommendations, all based on your interest graph

Unlike most recommendation algorithms, Bruno recommends content that is both aligned with as well as anomalous to your interests you’d find most interesting.
