Currently doing the 12 startups (projects) in twelve months challenge & posting bulleted weekly progress here for an extra layer of accountability. Project two is a newsletter for academic researchers who want to work smarter, not harder.

Goals for this week

Ship five academic productivity blog posts
Done. Main goal for this week. Takes about 2-2.5 hours to write and ship posts. Sometimes feels like I’m writing into the ether. Shipping these five is linked to the assumptions I want to test.

Set up Google Analytics

Not done. Can’t figure out how to set up Google Analytics 4 on the substack. Regardless, I should be able to test my assumptions using Substacks own stats, but they seem a bit light.
