Build in Public, via twitter, with multiple accounts, in the UK - how?
Hi all,
I'm in the UK, can I just say first, as that makes a difference.
I think we all know that Twitter need a phone number to verify your account, but I already have multiple accounts on twitter and can't add any more, but I want a unique account for each product I'm working on.
The usual recommendation is to get a Google Voice number - which isn't available in the UK.
Anyone got any other ideas on how to get round this?

Not sure, i'm UK based and have quite a few Twitter accounts already. Are they not letting you verify by email? I'm sure there's an option on register to choose that instead.
Hi. You can register by email, but they're asking for a phone number before I can tweet.
Which makes no sense at all when they offer a register-by-email option.

I have at least 7 Twitter accounts under one phone number, and so far it seems to work fine. It's a Finnish phone number though, but not sure if that makes any difference.
Hmm. It's strange. I've just found this URL (https://help.twitter.com/en/managing-your-account/how-to-add-a-phone-number-to-your-account ) which says you can have up to 10 accounts.
Maybe there's a time-limit applied before you can create another account.

Yes, eventually. There's a service I found where you pay a couple of pounds and they sit and wait for a text on their phone, then send you the code via online chat. Not ideal...
However, just remembered my youngest child has a new phone, so I'll use that in future :-)
