Build insights on your data

Hi fellow Indiehackers, I was hoping you could help validate my idea and provide some feedback!

Goal

To enable any business or individual to extract and formulate information from sparse data sources that already exist in their file stores. The customer should be able to seamlessly run exploratory queries or clean data in their existing file stores without the need to manually transform the files to fit the need.

Problem space

• Do you have a lot of data in CSV's and excel spread out in an email, google drive, dropbox, FTP?
• Do you need someone to understand the data in those files and help with exploring that data?
• Do you often use CSV's and excels to share and gather data
• Do you clean and upload data into an external CMS system
• Do you ever have the need to transform or filter the data from your CSV/excel to support uploading to an external tool or onboarding
• Do you have the need to segment data in the files
• Do you often suffer from the pain of bad or incorrectly formatted data in those files

Questions

• Which among the above-mentioned problem spaces you identify with closely
• How often have you invested your energy into solving that problem (to understand the blast radius of the problem)
• What are the tools that you've previously used to solve that problem (to learn about the competition)
• Did the tools solve the need or leave you yearning for more (is this a niche!)
• Is this a problem you've encountered at work but not personally (to classify target audience)
