This little UI element helps Loom build stronger habits around their product.

Making users aware of the value they got from your product is the crucial third step of the habit loop (reward).

It's especially important for products where users don't see the value immediately after using them (e.g. for tools working in the background).
So Loom displays a banner in the video library that shows how much time users saved by replacing meetings with Looms.
1 meeting a day replaced thanks to 5 Looms = reward.

For the reward to be most effective, the results you're showing must be in line with users' end goal of using your product.
That's why Loom uses the 'meetings replaced' statistic - it's what users care about the most.
