Building a Chrome extension? Try to get the Featured Badge

Hi IH,

I've been building a browser extension for sending online content to Kindle.

The screenshot was KTool's impressions on the Chrome Web Store.

There were 2 significant jumps in growth:

— Google rejected my Featured Badge request. I tweeted about it and the tweet reached Hacker News frontpage.

Impression jumped from ~80 → 300/day

— After a long fight, I finally got the Featured Badge.

Impressions jumped from ~300 → 600/day

My takeaway: the Featured Badge is worth it!

You can self-nominate your own extension for the badge. I did.
