Building a community in a niche I have no experience with... Looking for adivce.

I'd like to build a community around Real Estate Investing. However, I've never even bought or owned any real estate. I find the whole topic very intersting and I've always been really into Architecture. (I design houses as a hobby)

But, I'm having trouble getting over this fact that I'm building for a niche I'm not a part of. I think I should just go for Architectural Design as that's what I enjoy doing/discussing.

Thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
