Running #CoderDads, a community for dads that code. We are just over 200 members and have a pretty active core group. The best part about it is seeing Dads make a career transition into something they actually enjoy doing and best providing for their family.
It gives me the motivation to continue my journey into full-time tech. Seeing other people win shouldn't bring you down, it should fire you up to continue working.
Would love to hear your stories.
What support does the community provide to each members? Is it emotional/mental via stories?
Great question, I think a lot of the support is from hearing stories and related to other dads going through similar situations. I have heard that some dads feel like it's a poker night with other dads. Its been really fun
