Building a DeFi Mini-Bank – Looking for Thoughts & Tech Insights!

I'm starting a new side project and would love to get your feedback and maybe connect with some folks with DeFi experience!

I'm building a DeFi investment platform on Solana kind of like a Mini-Bank. The goal is to let users deposit crypto and earn yield through automated, transparent smart contract logic. Think of it as a minimal, data-driven financial engine.

MVP Scope:
For now, the MVP will be focused on:

• Wallet connection (Phantom/Solana)
• Depositing USDC into the platform
• Smart contract that allocates funds to a simple yield strategy (like lending)
• Transparent dashboard to track deposits, returns, and contract performance

Why I care about this as a Data Engineer:
As someone deep into data engineering, I’m really interested in how technologies like smart contracts, decentralized data, and on-chain analytics might reshape how we think about trust, traceability, and even real-time pipelines in the future.
