Hello all:
I have been looking at the growing popularity of Telegram and adoption by a lot of users. More importantly the lifeblood of telegrams are their groups called Channels. I am seeing channels ranging from Stock Tips to Crypto currency to movies to science. I am thinking managing such channels should be quite complex and wanted to explore an automated way to manage a channel as a service. The idea is to have a bot that can
Provide Personalized service
- Greeting new users and giving them key information on joining
- Track important digital documents / images and share them with users
- Specific announcements for new joiners
Group management
- Ability to stop someone from spamming the group - allow them to talk only once every X seconds
- When was someone last seen?
- Change channel into broadcast only vs AMA session at specific times
- Allow users to invite others to a closed group
- add automatic answers to frequently asked questions
- Track user reputation based on their activity in channel and ban users with poor repute
Membership Management
- Help you with payment processing and membership management.
- show subscription plans, accept payments (with Stripe, for example),
- provide users with invite links to private channels on payment.
- Send reminders for monthly payments
- kick non-paying users.
Sort of a personal Butler (hence Jeeves) for Telegram. Would this be useful?
If I were you I'd jump into some telegram groups and ask the room owners/administrators...
