Building a Landing Page Toolkit for low-traffic online businesses

I'm building Landing Page Toolkit in public. It's a special side project for me for many reasons.

• I was trying hard to get out of the mistakes I made while building a business in 2020 losing $7000 (that's a story for another day)

• This time I decided to build my product entirely in public (feel free to tear down my product if you will). I'll share everything starting from revenue numbers, to product stats to even user complaints (although I hope not to receive any complaints 😆). Also big shout out to @kevon for making this easy.

• It's my first no-code project, so learning a lot of new stuff already about Notion

• It's my first project where I decided to invest less money and more time (budget- 200 hours and $500)

• The first project where I'll use ads for the next level of validation once I sell the first few copies of the product to get early validation (more on that coming in a different post)

• Last but not the least, I'll build the product while publishing all the research as content- this will be the only marketing at the initial phase of my journey

So right now I'm working hard on the last point - researching for the product while creating content

Writing and publishing a ton of content to build an email list- the purpose is to build a support base who can help me with feedback and support my journey by sharing the content, and showing some love in Product Hunt when the time comes 😁

Latest update:

Yesterday I published one of such research-based contents on Hypefury and published it on Reddit: https://marketingmetrics.io/blog/hypefury-landing-page-analysis

It was received well and I received 400+ visitors from it so far (thank you, readers!!) but the icing on the cake was that I received my first 3 pre-sales (yay!!).
