Building a LinkedIn Inbox Alternative to Better Your DM Workflow

I've been working on my latest SaaS project called Linkeezy for the last few months.

What started out as a small MVP as literally become a full blown V1 product. But I love how it's turning out and I'm already using it myself daily, even when it's like 90% complete.

The big feature I've been building last is a better way to improve your workflow and organization of your LinkedIn messages. Think Gmail style but for your LinkedIn inbox!

It's been a big undertaking, but this feature is almost complete. I'm dropping a quick gif of how it's looking so far:

Some of what you can do in this inbox feature:

  • Labels for messages, which you can the show only those in a specific view

  • Search messages based on people or topic

  • Leave notes and see profile information quickly about the person your messaging

  • Reminders for later, that surface back up when needed to reply

  • Archive messages or add them back

  • Auto labeling based on the person or keywords (so you can send certain things you think are spam right to archive and skip the inbox for example)

  • Message formatting and signatures

  • And more to come!

The other two main product features of Linkeezy are organizing your saved LinkedIn posts and enabling focused feeds based on people or topics you want to consume/engage with.

Nothing is stored in our platform. No data scraping, auto-AI replies, platform manipulation, or anything. So it's compliant to LinkedIn's terms of service.

Also, not easy to navigate their API or figure out how to do what we wanted with limited documentation. But my developer figured it out and is all working beautifully.

Pretty stoked on the progress and should be launching mid to late February to waitlist folks first, then publicly to everyone else. Waitlister's not only get first access but a special 30% discount if they choose to upgrade.

Next update coming soon, which is hopefully about going live! I'm sure I'll also share some lessons building this product as well.

Cheers!
