As the maker of Pod Hunt I have a deep interest in solving the problem of Podcast Discovery.
I recognize however that there are many different ways to solve the problem that listeners are facing, and know there are lots of other people trying to solve the problem.
From newsletters and podcasts to websites and apps people are trying to solve the problem in unique and novel ways.
I'm attempting to publish a list with all these projects to give visibility to them all and give listeners different options.
I've got a list of about 15 projects so far and I'm sure I don't have them all, so I'm asking for you to share your favorite attempts at fixing the problem of podcast discovery to make my list more complete.
Update:
Thanks to everyone for the suggestions, the list turned into a micro site, and is now live: https://podcastdiscovery.net/

Nice, thanks!
Hi Mubs, KP from appearedon.com here. I'm a huge fan of your work. Pls don't hesitate to reach out if there's any other way I can help in this endeavor.
Thanks, will do!
Yo this list is awesome @Mubs

Hi Mubs,
Really love what you're doing with Pod Hunt.
I'd check out the following websites:
Bello Collective (bellocollective.com)
Podcasts In Color (podcastsincolor.com)
Podcast Review (podcastreview.org) full disclosure: I run this site!
And these two newsletters:
The Listener (thelistener.co)
Podcast Gumbo (podcastgumbo.com)
Thanks for the links, a couple I hadn't heard off!
This feels good, its such a growing market and I don't feel like it has been done right.
Happy to be involved in user research as a heavy podcast listener
Thanks and agreed. So much interesting stuff going on. I think this is turning into a list / blog type of project 😀
Are you manually finding and creating these list or using a filtering algorithm?
