Building a more affordable alternative to expensive vehicle history reports

Vinpanda was built around a simple problem: checking multiple used cars gets expensive quickly.

A buyer comparing 3–5 vehicles can easily spend well over $100 on vehicle history reports before even deciding which car to buy. That creates a situation where people either pay repeatedly or start skipping checks altogether.

Vinpanda aims to make that process more affordable.

Reports cost $14.99 each, or $34.99 for three, with no subscription or account required. Buyers enter a VIN, complete checkout, and receive their report instantly.

Reports cover the information that matters when evaluating a used vehicle, including title brands, liens, odometer records, theft records, reported accidents, recalls, and other available vehicle history data.

The biggest challenge now is distribution.

Growth has primarily focused on organic search, alongside experiments with Reddit, social content, comparison pages, and educational content around the used-car buying process.

It’s still early, but organic traffic is growing and visitors are beginning to convert into paying customers.

The long-term goal is simple: build Vinpanda into a recognizable, affordable alternative in a market dominated by much larger vehicle history providers.

The early organic conversions are the strongest signal here.

Curious whether buyers are choosing Vinpanda mainly because of the lower cost, or because the no-subscription/no-account flow makes it easier to check multiple cars.
