The Pain:
I run three businesses with income across different platforms. Every month I manually check 5+ places, copy numbers to my Notion database, and always felt that there’s gotta be a better way to do this. I’m wasting too much time with this data entry task and still can't confidently answer: "Which business/platform should I invest more time in?" This drives me crazy.
The Gap:
Most tools are built for one business or personal budgeting. I need to see my total across multiple separate businesses, each with multiple income sources. Can't find anything that does this simply.
What I’m building:
Building a multi-source, multi-business dashboard. Add income from anywhere, see total across all businesses in one view, know what's growing. Starting stupid simple.
My situation:
Product designer, not developer. Parent to baby. No nursery or outside help. 20 hrs/week client work. Building this with Cursor and other AI tools in 10-15 hrs/week. No users, no validation yet. Just solving my own pain.
Question:
Do you have income from multiple businesses or sources? How do you track your total? Does scattered data block your decision-making?
If this resonates, I'm building in public. Would love to know if you have this pain too, or if you've found something that works.
Week 1 goal:
Talk to 3 people to see if this problem is real or just mine.
