Hi guys,
I shared my 1st update on building Founderness last week. This is the follow-up.
The 2nd week has come with its highs and lows.
THE NUMBERS
Website visitors: 641
Email subscribers: 59 (up from 31)
New interviews published: 3
THE STRUGGLES
The first week went by with no creative block at all. I was writing content left and right. This week was a lot different. I have realized that to sustain the content lulls, I'll need to focus more on interviews with other founders.
I felt like I wanted to pivot every day with the project. The beauty of it all is that I can. I felt that my project wasn't specific enough to really grab the attention (and email addresses), even with good content.
I've decided to move on with a bigger focus on how the founders gained initial customers, add marketing suggestions and sprinkle in a business idea or two.
THE SUCCESSES
Published 3 interviews with great founders - Ali, Mike, and Rohan. I couldn't thank them enough.
My DIY MBA book club summary of Atomic Habits blew up on /r/entrepreneur holding the nr 2 spot for two days. That gained me around 300-400 visitors and the majority of my gained email subscribers.
What's next
I'm going to push for gaining more interviews. They're great for my personal network building and in terms of content production, it does not get any better.
Will try to see how we can focus more on specifics.
The first best thing you've done is getting .com domain. Keep moving, you'll hit heights never imagined
haha, there are some things I've done right, .com is crucial of course.
