🧩 Building a privacy-first calendar sync (EU hosted, Free/Busy only)

Hey Indie Hackers 👋

I'm building Kalender-Sync, a small SaaS that syncs your work and personal calendars (Outlook ↔ Google ↔ iCloud) — but with a twist:
✅ Only Free/Busy information is synced (no event titles, participants, or metadata)
🇪🇺 Fully hosted in the EU
🧠 GDPR-friendly by design

This came from a super common DACH (Germany/Austria/Switzerland) pain point:
People want to connect work and personal calendars, but corporate policies and GDPR restrictions make it nearly impossible without leaking event data to US-based tools like Reclaim or OneCal.

My goal is to make it dead simple:
No event storage
No metadata
Just mirror Free/Busy between calendars

Where I’m at
Working on GDPR-Setup for work calendar sync
Simple landing page live: kalender-sync.de

What I’m looking for
Feedback from anyone who’s tried building privacy-first integrations
Ideas for early validation — would you pay for this if it “just worked”?
Tips on reaching small business users or freelancers in the EU who care about GDPR

It’s a niche, but it feels like one that’s regulation-locked (which can be good).
Curious how you’d position or price something like this.

Cheers,
Paul
