Building a quiz-based directory to kill B2B software fatigue

Hey everyone, I’m Chris. I'm a solo founder building The AI Sifter (theaisifter.com).

Most B2B directories throw 400 overwhelming options at a user. I wanted to build the opposite.

Working with Claude, I built an interactive quiz routing matrix. Non-technical small business owners answer a few quick questions about their operational bottlenecks, and the backend instantly sifts out the noise to give them 3 tailored utility recommendations.

Monetization is set up via affiliate integrations with tools like Apollo, Descript, and Buffer.

I'm currently scaling this out and prepping a second site using the same framework for a completely different niche: senior care utilities (CareSifter.com).

Would love any quick feedback on the layout or user flow!

Perfect for a fast read. Drop it in and hit publish!

The premise is solid — cut through AI noise in 60 seconds for small businesses — but the page doesn't show what a good result looks like before asking for the click. No example recommendations, no case ("a landscaper found these 3 tools"), no testimonials. For a curation product, the curations are the proof, and right now none are visible. Happy to share more if useful. — Ramin Amiri
