Hey everyone, as a solo developer and content marketer, one of the biggest bottlenecks I’ve consistently faced is producing video content without spending hours on complex editing software. I noticed a lot of other indie hackers struggle with this exact same friction when trying to market their projects, create product demos, or run social media campaigns.
To scratch my own itch, I built Kling4 AI. It’s a dedicated video generator designed specifically for quick text-to-video and image-to-video workflows. The goal wasn't to build an overly complicated editor, but rather a streamlined tool where you can drop in your text prompts or static image assets and get a usable video generated in minutes, keeping the barrier to visual storytelling as low as possible.
Right now, I'm focusing on optimizing the generation speed and managing the GPU server costs, which is definitely an interesting learning curve for a bootstrapped project. If anyone here has experience scaling generative AI products or balancing heavy infrastructure costs, I'd really appreciate your insights. Also happy to share what I've learned about the tech stack and my initial user acquisition strategy so far!
