Hello everyone,
I’m the founder of DheeVoy, a new mobile utility designed to help people travel smarter and safer.
The idea came from seeing how chaotic and unpredictable modern travel can be. I wanted to build a clean, distraction-free app that helps everyday travelers make real-time, safe decisions on the move without digging through fragmented tools.
Where the MVP stands right now:
The Stack: Built dynamically using Base44 and routed through Cloudflare for maximum security.
The Backend: Currently setting up a dedicated Stripe connection routed straight into a Wise business hub for seamless local and global payouts.
The UI: I’ve designed the layout with a permanent top navigation bar that keeps our core focus "Smarter and Safer" front and center while keeping search and critical tools accessible as users scroll.
What I'm trying to figure out next:
Since I’m completely bootstrapping this and prepping for our first wave of beta testers, I’d love to get the community's brutal feedback on a couple of things:
For a mobile utility, do you prefer a permanent, sticky top navigation bar for core tools, or should it fade away/shrink as the user scrolls down?
What are your go-to free or low-cost directories to launch a consumer utility app besides Product Hunt?
I'll be hanging out in the comments. Thanks for reading!
The phrase "smarter and safer" caught my attention because it's doing a lot of work.
Travelers make hundreds of decisions during a trip, but only a small number actually feel risky enough to change behavior.
I'd be curious which specific decision you expect users to open the app for first. That answer may end up mattering more than the navigation or launch channel questions.
Hi Aryan,
Thank you for your response, I really appreciate it!
The MVP is focused on helping travelers stay safe throughout their entire journey, from the moment they start planning their trip until they return home safely. In addition to travel safety, it helps users make smarter booking decisions by considering factors beyond just price, such as weather conditions, travel advisories, and other relevant travel insights.
I'm currently looking for a small group of beta testers to try the MVP and share honest feedback. Your input would be incredibly valuable in helping shape the product and prioritize what to build next.
Would you be interested in giving it a try? I'd love to hear your thoughts and learn from your experience.
I'd be happy to take a look.
Before I do, I'd like to approach it as a first-time user rather than knowing how it's intended to work. I usually find that's where the most useful observations come from.
What's the best email to reach me through for beta access?
thank you so much, can you please share your email address. I can add you in and send the mobile app link so you can see how it works through a browser mode.
Thanks! My email is hello@beryxa.com.
Looking forward to trying it from a first-time user's perspective.
Thank you for sharing the email address, I have sent you an invite for accessing the mobile app. Please let me know if you have any challenges in accessing it.
