Building a Twitter tool for Indie Hackers — Roast My Landing Page 🔥

Hello!

My name is Mário Balça, and I've just launched my landing page for Tweetboard — a kanban board for building/managing Twitter content (tweets and threads).

It all started a few weeks ago, when I was trying to build my very first backlog of tweets/thread ideas in a spreadsheet.

After the 3rd row or so I stopped, and said to myself: I need a better way to do this.

I'm so used to organizing my thoughts with tools like Trello or Notion, that immediately I knew that I wanted to be able to:

  • Create cards for ideas
  • Expand them to proper tweets and threads,
  • Publish/schedule them directly to Twitter

So that's the story!

Please shoot me all your comments and feedback related to the landing page that I just released, and please let me know if there's anything else I can do to return the favor.

If you're interested in following this adventure, I'm actually going to build Tweetboard in public on my Twitter profile (@mariobalca), so be sure to follow me to get all the updates.

Thanks

I think the "A kanban board for tweets" is a good tagline. It's simple, clean, and immediately makes me understand what your product is. Problem is it is nowhere in your landing page, it's only in the tab and even there it is cutoff.

Thank you for the feedback @virtualfox!

I think I agree with you, I should probably have that tagline somewhere on the landing page.

Do you think I should use it instead of the current hero/header?

    It's looking good.

For the sake of the roast. Copy of the last CTA could be more clear. "Subscribe to newsletter, beta access, one month free access, full month discount."

Confusing and sounds desperate for an e-mail address, no offense.

Thanks @Rusted! I'll take this into account in next the iterations for sure

Curious to know if you ever struggled with something related while planning/organizing content for Twitter.

I'm not creating content over twitter. Oh recently I've look for the draft button, couldn't find it so copy/pasted into sublime text. Thanks for reminding it.
