Building a website / web application without any coding

Hello everyone!

I'm a new member at IH - it seems like an amazing site so far.

I have a project I'm working on. Since I know my limitations (I know zero coding!) I'm trying to find a way to build my project without code.

The project it self is pretty straight forward - I dream of creating a website / web application that works like a data base filled with A-grade excersises related to a specifik subject in high school. Currently, many students share the opinion that there isn't enough A-grade excersises in the course book they were given. So ambious students are browsing the web or buying/lending different course books just to find more A-grade excersises. It's a hussle - and even if you find a collection of hard excersises on the web, there seldom is an explanation to the answer.

In my experience, ambious students are dreading these excersises - because repetition is seriously everything this specifik course is about. A student doesn't really have to "learn", rather they have to have experienced all the complex excersises so that they can memorize them. I understand if my idea doesn't make any sense - it probably doesn't! Anyways!

My idea is to create a platform where ALL available excersises (from all available books, old tests etc) are located. My plan is to offer hints and solutions as well.

Now, let's pretend there is a demand of this service. My idea is to then make this some kind of subscription / member / or one-time-fee-to-gain-access type of site. In other words, there has to be a solid paywall of some sort.

Does anyone have any tips how I could go about without having to code? Do you recommend a specifik building tool for this matter? I have zero experience regarding web development - but I'd love to learn!

Cheers!

Thank you for your reply! Is there any obvious pro by using webflow+memberstack?

I'm currently experimenting on wix.com - and they seem to offer what I need: a membership based website. Wix also seems a lot cheaper, because I don't have to pay the memberstack fee.

Hey @Bearyspoink! Do you have any favorite no-code tools you want to use? I.e. Squarespace, Webflow, Zapier, Airtable, Bubble.is, etc.

      Hello!

I'm currently experimenting on wix.com. I find it very handy and manageable. I've also read that I can use wix.com for creating what I want - a membership based website.

Do you think my kind of project would be good to build on wix.com?

I've heard great things about Wix, but nothing really about their memberships.

The only things I have heard were in a video interview I did with a Wix user who was trying to migrate away from Wix's memberships/subscriptions. I'm happy to share that with you privately.
