Building AgencyOps in public — day 1 update

A few days ago I listed AgencyOps on Indie Hackers.

For context — AgencyOps is a self-hosted agency operations dashboard. Lead pipeline, client and project management, profitability tracking, contract renewals, branded client reports. One-time $299. Runs on your own server. No monthly fees, no vendor lock-in.

Revenue so far: $0. Honest start.

What I'm planning today

I'm thinking about building a set of free calculator tools specifically for agency owners. No sign-up, no email capture — just open and use.

The idea came from a simple observation: most agency owners make pricing and profitability decisions on gut feel. There's no quick tool that gives you a real number in 60 seconds.

Before I start building, I want to ask the people who actually run agencies or work with them:

What calculation would save you the most time or money if it was a free tool?

Retainer pricing? Profit margin per client? Team capacity? SaaS cost comparison? Something else entirely?
