Hey IH đź‘‹
I’m currently building Journalhjelp, an AI assistant for medical professionals in Norway. The goal is simple: reduce time spent on documentation so clinicians can spend more time with patients.
The product focuses on three things:
Transcribing patient consultations (during or after visits)
Automatically generating structured clinical notes and required medical forms
Letting clinicians chat with long patient journals to quickly find specific information
We’re validating the product in pilot settings with healthcare professionals and being very careful around trust, accuracy, and GDPR compliance. Everything is review-and-approve by the clinician — no “fully automated” decisions.
I’m curious if anyone here has:
Built or worked on products in regulated industries (healthcare, fintech, govtech)
Experience selling to clinicians or public healthcare
Opinions on where AI actually delivers value vs. creates risk in clinical workflows
Would love feedback, war stories, or things you wish you’d known earlier.
