Hi Indie Hackers! đź‘‹
I’m thrilled to share my journey of creating Muslim Duo, a Quranic Arabic learning app. This has been a passion project born from a deeply personal struggle—and I’m excited to invite you to be part of this journey.
Have you ever listened to a recitation in a language you don’t understand and wished you could feel more connected to it? That’s been my story for years. I’d recite the Quran, feeling inspired but disconnected linguistically. The words were beautiful, but their meaning? Out of reach.
One day, I thought: What if understanding the Quran wasn’t a monumental task? What if it was simple, engaging, and even fun?
I’m a big fan of Duolingo and how it makes language learning addictive and fun. Then it hit me—why not build something similar, but exclusively for learning Quranic Arabic? An app that helps anyone explore the Quran in a meaningful and interactive way.
And so, Muslim Duo was born. 🚀
My goal isn’t just to teach Arabic. It’s to help people connect with the Quran on a whole new level—whether you’re a lifelong learner or just starting to explore its beauty. I want to make this journey accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Effortless Learning: With just 80 key words, you can understand nearly 50% of the Quran.
Interactive Stories: Learn through Quranic stories like Musa (AS) and Nuh (AS)—so the journey feels immersive.
Gamified Lessons: Learning is fun, not a chore.
AI Conversations: Practice and chat using the words you’ve learned for deeper retention.
We’ve developed an early version of the app, and I’m looking for feedback from people who share the same passion for meaningful learning.
If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to try out the early version of Muslim Duo and share your thoughts. Your feedback will help shape the app into a tool that benefits learners everywhere.
