Building an Outbound Automation Platform After Getting Frustrated With Too Many Tools

Almost everyone running outbound campaigns was using multiple tools just to generate leads and send emails.

A typical workflow looked something like this:

Find leads using one tool

Extract contact data using another

Send outreach emails through a separate platform

Manage responses in a CRM

Use Zapier or other automation tools to glue everything together

Apart from the cost, the bigger issue was the workflow fragmentation. Data had to constantly move between platforms just to run a simple outreach campaign.

At some point I started wondering:

Why isn’t there a single system that handles this entire workflow?

So I started building one.

What the Platform Does

The idea was to create a system that combines lead discovery, outreach, and campaign management in one place.

Right now the platform can:

Discover business leads from real-time sources like Google Maps and company websites

Extract contact details from those businesses

Generate outreach email campaigns using AI

Personalize messages based on the prospect’s website context

Run automated email sequences

Track replies and move leads through a built-in CRM pipeline

Automate workflows using tools like n8n

The goal isn’t to compete with large databases like Apollo or ZoomInfo. Instead, the focus is on automation and workflow efficiency.

Why I Focused on Agencies

One interesting pattern I noticed while building this is that agencies have the biggest need for this type of system.

Many agencies run lead generation campaigns for multiple clients, which means they constantly need to:

find new prospects

launch outreach campaigns

track conversations

manage multiple pipelines

Most of them end up stitching together 4–6 tools to do this.

So the platform is designed more like an outbound engine for agencies rather than just another lead database.

Current Stage

The platform is currently live and evolving.

Right now I’m working with a few partners who are preparing to run pilot campaigns with real businesses. The goal is to validate the workflow and see how well it performs in real outreach scenarios.

The pilot will help answer a few key questions:

How well does the targeting work?

What kind of reply rates we can achieve?

How easily agencies can operate the system?

What I’ve Learned So Far

Building this has reinforced a few lessons:

Many tools solve only one small part of a workflow.

Agencies care more about process efficiency than features.

Real feedback from users shapes the product far more than initial ideas.

What I’m Looking For

Right now I’m mainly looking for:

agency owners interested in testing the platform

founders who run outbound sales campaigns

people building automation-heavy marketing workflows

If anyone here is working on outbound lead generation or marketing automation, I’d genuinely love to hear how you currently structure your stack and what tools you rely on.
