I'll be building brainpick.id in public. Here is a Trello board https://trello.com/b/2Ci733BX, I shall keep it updated. Here is a link to Notion page, where I shall update the documentation https://lydian-nannyberry-98e.notion.site/BrainPick-id-8cd17428662a4187ac49d1059dba2403
Good luck, Nurlan!
What is the problem the product tries to solve?
The idea behind brainpick.id is to allow to freelance from anywhere. You don't have to open an account with UpWork/Fiverr, add your BrainPick.id to your profile and start freelancing from LinkedIn, Twitter, FB.
Sounds interesting. From my perspective, UpWork is not only a place where you can find projects as a freelancer, but also an arbitrage.
Is that something that people will miss while freelancing on LinkedIn or Twitter?
Initially, I am thinking about basic protection, e.g. do not charge until the answer is accepted. But eventually, I shall think about something solid.
I woke up famous today:) brainpick.id was featured in the latest episode of anchor.fm https://anchor.fm/wannabentrepreneur/episodes/113---Reviewing-3-Build-In-Public-Apps-e16m5dg
ProductHunt's upcoming page for brainpick.id is live https://www.producthunt.com/upcoming/brainpick-id-get-answers-today
Woke up at 7:30 am. It is now 10 am. The first task is complete. The data model is done, the ERD diagram is here https://lydian-nannyberry-98e.notion.site/BrainPick-id-8cd17428662a4187ac49d1059dba2403. I tend to start projects with a data model and I consider it as a best practice. When you have the right model it is easier to understand the relationship between entities. Next is to build backend.
Completed backend around 3:55 pm, had some rest. As usually took a long walk. Now I am doing the frontend. I am using ReactJS, RazzleJS (SSR library), Grommet UX library. As a text editor, I use Outline's Rich Markdown editor.
brainpick.id is live, it took less than 24 hours to get to this point. I guess it is possible to build something within 24 hours, but it is too stressful:) Giving up, tomorrow I shall continue.
