Building ConundrumQuest in Public

I posted this week about a web app I am building, based on the nature of the web app being about the Worlds hardest problems and who is working on them. I figured it makes sense to Open Source the code.

I also want to document the build process and challenges along the way. Should I document this on a blog on the website?

What are some good ideas for tackling a build in public project of this nature. How could I engage people in what I am building?
