Building ConvortAI: WhatsApp AI for small businesses

I’m building ConvortAI to help small businesses handle WhatsApp sales and support faster.

Many businesses use WhatsApp as their main customer channel, but replying manually becomes hard when the same questions, product requests, order details, voice notes, and follow-ups keep coming in every day.

ConvortAI connects a business WhatsApp number to an AI assistant. It can reply to common questions, share product or service details, collect customer and order info, send saved templates, and alert the team when human help is needed.

Right now I’m focusing on simple onboarding, reliable WhatsApp handling, business training, order capture, and making it useful for restaurants, salons, ecommerce stores, clinics, agencies, real estate teams, and service businesses.

I’d love feedback from founders and business owners. What feature would make this valuable enough for you to pay for? And which integrations should I prioritize first?

I’d be careful testing this across restaurants, salons, ecommerce, clinics, agencies, real estate, and service businesses at the same time.

They all use WhatsApp, but they do not pay for the same reason.

The stronger test is not “what feature should ConvortAI have?”

It is: which business loses money fastest when WhatsApp replies are slow, missed, or inconsistent?

For some businesses that is missed bookings. For others it is abandoned orders, quote follow-ups, repeat questions, or lead qualification.

If you test all segments together, you may get a lot of useful-sounding feature requests but still not know who would actually pay first.

Happy to put a tighter first-paying-customer path in writing if useful. This is the kind of product where the first niche matters more than the first integration.

This is very helpful, thank you.

You’re right. I was looking at it too broadly because all these businesses use WhatsApp, but the reason they pay is different.

I think the strongest first niche may be businesses where slow replies directly cost them orders or bookings, like ecommerce stores, restaurants, salons, and service providers.

For now, I’ll narrow the testing around one main pain: missed or delayed WhatsApp replies turning into lost sales or incomplete orders.

And yes, I’d really appreciate it if you can share a tighter first-paying-customer path. That would be very useful at this stage.

        Glad it helped.

That first niche call is exactly the part I would not answer casually in a comment, because ecommerce, restaurants, salons, and service providers may all lose money from slow WhatsApp replies, but the buying trigger is different for each.

Send me your email and I’ll put the tighter first-paying-customer path in writing instead of crowding the thread.

          Thanks Aryan, that makes sense.

I’ll send you my email in DM so the thread doesn’t get crowded. I’d really appreciate the tighter first-paying-customer path, especially around which niche has the strongest buying trigger first.

            No worries.

Just send the email here or DM when you get a chance. I’ll keep it focused on the first paid niche decision so it’s actually useful, not broad WhatsApp automation advice.
