Building FastCompressor: Why I’m fixing bloated media files

I wanted to share what I’ve been working on recently: FastCompressor.

As a creator/developer, I constantly hit the same annoying roadblock: dealing with massive image and video files. Whether it's trying to optimize web performance, hitting upload limits, or just managing storage, the process is always a headache.

Most existing tools out there are either:

1. Clunky, slow, and loaded with annoying ads.

2. Completely destroy the visual quality of the asset just to save a few megabytes.

I built FastCompressor to fix this. The goal is simple: blazing-fast, high-fidelity compression for JPG, PNG, TIFF, MP4, and GIF files without losing noticeable quality. Right now, it's a lightweight web utility built to handle both image and video assets seamlessly.

I'm currently in the early stages and looking to shape the roadmap based on what real builders actually need. I'd love to get the community's feedback:
