Founder Nitish Kumar Yadav built FixAEO in 50 days to solve a common founder problem: knowing if your brand appears when users query AI engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity. The tool checks visibility across eight major AI engines. The public scan is completely free and requires no signup. For advanced tracking, dashboards, and competitor analytics, a paid Lite tier is available for $29/month.

Built on a tech stack of Go, Postgres, and Next.js, FixAEO launched at the end of May 2026. It has attracted nearly 1,000 visitors and logged over 2,800 real AI citations. While traditional marketing efforts like posting on X and buying directory listings yielded little traction, Nitish found success with direct outreach. He shares customized, value-first AI visibility reports directly with brand owners.

Nitish's core takeaway from the launch is that building the product is straightforward, but gaining trust, earning backlinks, and overcoming domain age barriers to establish discovery remain the hardest challenges.

The outreach strategy makes sense, but I think the harder question is what founders are ultimately buying from FixAEO. I'd keep validating whether they see it as an AI visibility monitoring tool, or as a way to reduce the uncertainty around whether their brand is discoverable in an AI-first world.
