Building Gold Dashboard to make gold-market research less fragmented
Hi everyone, I’m building Gold Dashboard, a research-first XAUUSD dashboard.
I started it because following gold often means switching between a price chart, news sites, macro data, and social posts. The information is available, but it is scattered and difficult to review quickly.
The current version brings together:
• Live XAUUSD price and multi-timeframe charts
• Support and resistance levels
• Short market analysis
• Gold news and macro context
• Automatically summarized trader views from X
The biggest challenge is keeping the dashboard useful without simply adding more and more data. I want it to help with research and comparison, not become another signal or prediction product.
I’d love to hear from other makers:
• What should a market dashboard show in the first five seconds?
• How do you decide what belongs above the fold?
• What would make you return to a focused research tool regularly?

The challenge with market dashboards is usually not collecting more data — it's deciding what deserves attention first.
A focused XAUUSD tool has a good angle, but the winning workflow may be helping traders quickly understand "what changed since yesterday" rather than showing more indicators.
That’s a great point. I agree the key challenge is not showing more data, but making the important changes obvious.
A “since yesterday” view is something I’m considering for the dashboard—price movement, key levels, news, and trader context in one quick summary.
