Building Howflow in public Update #1
I can't believe the time is running so fast!
And here I am with my exciting 2-week update on building Howflow, already.
As promised, I have a lot of updates to share with you all.
Metrics 📈:
• 105 unique visitors for the landing page
• 14 beta user sign-ups
• 61 IH post views
Marketing 📣:
• Designed logo
• Created landing page
• Tried to be consistent on Twitter and LinkedIn
• Published 1st Indiehacker post
• Brand social pages
Product 👨🏻💻:
• Locked MVP requirements
• Completed UI design of all pages
• Created DB schema and connected it.
• Authentication and Authorization with Google Signups
• 70% of Dashboard development
• 90% of Chrome Extension Development
Major Lesson Learned- Don't mess with the basics😅
When I started learning code, I hurried to move from one topic to another, hoping to rapid the learning process.
But now, while building the product, I keep coming back to the fundamentals to solve complex problems.
The main focus for this week:
• Completing the Dashboard development
• External APIs
• Connecting Chrome Extension
• Updating the Landing page with product screens
• Collecting 10 more beta sign ups
