Building in public strategies

I have started building in public 4 years ago, but actually did it right 1 year ago.

When building in public, consider using the following strategies to engage and involve your audience 👇

1️⃣ Transparency: Share your progress, challenges, and learnings openly. Transparency builds trust and invites feedback from your audience.

2️⃣ Storytelling: Craft a compelling narrative around your journey. Share anecdotes, milestones, and personal insights to captivate your audience and make your project relatable.

3️⃣ Social Media Presence: Leverage platforms like Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram to provide regular updates, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and interact with your audience. Use relevant hashtags to expand your reach.

4️⃣ Content Creation: Share valuable content related to your project. This can include blog posts, tutorials, videos, or podcasts. Educate and inspire your audience, establishing yourself as an expert in your domain.

5️⃣ Engage with Community: Participate in relevant communities, forums, or online groups related to your industry. Contribute, answer questions, and seek feedback. Networking with like-minded individuals can also lead to valuable partnerships or collaborations.

6️⃣ Feedback Loops: Actively seek and incorporate feedback from your audience. Conduct surveys, host live Q&A sessions, or ask for input on specific features or design choices. This involvement makes your audience feel valued and creates a sense of ownership.

7️⃣ Celebrate Milestones: Share and celebrate key milestones or achievements with your audience. It not only keeps them engaged but also demonstrates progress and momentum.
