Building in Public Week 0: Welcome to whatever this is...
Back in 2020, I launched Painless Prototyping, a startup focused on designing educational hardware kits that taught fundamentals of engineering in a practical manner. I launched the first kit on Kickstarter and raised $32,000 dollars across 510 backers. This was all done as a side project, outside of my day job. I've always had this nagging thought "what would happen if I took my side projects and made them my full time job?" Today I begin that journey.
I'm not quite sure where I'm headed or what these weekly updates will be. For the moment, I'm going to continue work on my first game, Candlelight, to submit for the Pirate Software Game Jam 15 which ends in 2 days 20 hours. (https://itch.io/jam/pirate)

I feel you, working on taking your side hustle and trying to scale it takes some courage. Loved doing some game jams, back in the days too, just remember to not take it too serious and have some fun!
