Building “Influencer Hub” – one chronological feed for all the creators you actually care about

I’m working on a small but very real itch: following the same creators across 4–5 apps has become a chore.

Right now my routine looks like:

  • Open X to check a few builders → get sucked into “For You”

  • Open LinkedIn for 2 people → end up in corporate cringe

  • Open YouTube for 1 creator → fall into recommendations

  • Open IG “just for a sec” → there goes 20 minutes

I only care about ~15–20 creators, but I’m wrestling multiple apps and feeds that are optimized for engagement, not for “show me what these people posted.”

So I’m building Influencer Hub:

  • Paste a profile link or @handle (X, YouTube first; LinkedIn/IG/Substack later)

  • It detects the platform and pulls their public posts

  • Everything goes into one unified, chronological feed

  • Filter by person / platform

  • Search across all posts from all creators

  • Bookmark and add personal notes on posts you want to keep

Think of it as a “reader” for creators you’ve intentionally chosen, not another social network or analytics tool.

Current status:

  • Scoping a 2‑week MVP with Next.js + Supabase

  • Starting with X + YouTube integrations

  • Web first, mobile‑friendly; native apps if there’s real pull

What I’d love from Indie Hackers:

  • Do you feel this “feed fragmentation” pain yourself, or does this sound over‑optimized?

  • What would be the one killer feature that makes this obviously better than Twitter Lists / YouTube Subscriptions / RSS?

  • From a business angle, does this feel like a $5–10/mo power‑user tool, or more like a utility that needs a different monetization path?

If this resonates and you’d like to try the MVP or give feedback on early versions, I’ve put up a small waitlist here:

Happy to answer any questions about the approach, tech, or positioning – and if you’ve seen someone already nail this, I’d genuinely appreciate links so I don’t spend weeks reinventing a worse version.

This is a really compelling idea the “feed fragmentation” problem is real, and I see it all the time with clients who struggle to keep up with creators across multiple platforms. As someone who runs Reddit marketing campaigns, I can say that tools like this don’t just save time; they create shareable, organized content that can be promoted to niche communities much more effectively.

If you combine a clean chronological feed with features like bookmarking and search, this could stand out from Twitter Lists or YouTube subscriptions because it actually centralizes attention instead of relying on algorithms. From a marketing perspective, even a small MVP could drive adoption if you position it to communities frustrated with feed overload Reddit, creator forums, and productivity subs are perfect targets.

Honestly, this feels like a solid $5–10/mo power user tool if executed well, and with some Reddit-driven awareness campaigns, you could build early traction among your most engaged users.
