Hey Indie Hackers,
I wanted to share the story of a project I've been working on for the past few months: an AI-powered charm generator that's designed to create personalized chat responses and pickup lines. It’s a tool I’ve been building to improve interactions in digital communication, with a bit of fun and creativity thrown in.
The idea came when I was thinking about how much time people spend crafting responses, whether it's for conversations or even just small talk in chat rooms. There’s always this pressure to sound interesting, witty, or even charming. So I figured, why not use AI to generate tailored responses that could help people in these situations?
I’ve built this using a custom AI model that generates context-aware, personable chat responses, including pickup lines. The goal is to make it feel as natural as possible. I integrated it with some of the common chat platforms and created a user-friendly interface where people can interact with the AI.
Some of the core technologies I used:
TypeScript for clean and type-safe code.
Next.js App Router for smooth, modern routing and page management.
AI/ML models to process and generate responses.
AWS S3 for secure and scalable storage.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing. I started off with a rough prototype and quickly realized I needed a better way to handle user input and improve the natural flow of conversation. The feedback loop was key here—I tested it on a small group, adjusted based on feedback, and iterated.
One challenge I faced was making sure the AI didn’t sound too robotic or out of place. I didn’t want it to feel like a canned response. After fine-tuning the training data, I got it to a point where it could generate responses that felt unique and human-like, but still had a bit of playful charm.
Once I felt the AI was working well enough, I launched the first version into production. I was focused on making sure the app could handle multiple users, scale when needed, and provide quick, high-quality responses.
I’ve now launched the production release, and it’s available for public use. It’s already been a fun project to work on, and I’m excited to see how people use it.
Looking ahead, I’m working on making the AI even more intelligent, incorporating user feedback to improve response quality, and possibly adding a few more features like multi-language support.
If you’re interested, check out the app! It’s always a work in progress, and I’m constantly iterating based on what users need.
Would love to hear your thoughts and feedback!

Looking good! Just one piece of feedback - when I switch from monthly to yearly options in your pricing page, it didn't show any crossed out prices, making me psychologically think there was no discount for paying yearly.
Of course, I realized there was a 20% discount after looking at the label next to the toggle button, but it's a small detail worth noting!
Thanks a lot for the feedback — you're absolutely right. Showing the crossed-out monthly prices next to the yearly plan would make the discount more visually clear. We’ll get that updated. Appreciate you pointing it out!
I'd love to connect with you further to discuss this in more detail. Feel free to reach out to me at ostapenkokpersonal@gmail. com
Looking forward to hearing from you!
Wow, this is amazing truly inspiring! Keep building awesome stuff 💯😎.
I’ve got an SaaS idea I’m super excited about, but I’m new to this space and not sure where to start.
If anyone’s open to pointing me in the right direction or sharing advice, I’d really appreciate it.
Thanks for the kind words — really appreciate it! And congrats on the SaaS idea — that’s exciting. If you ever want help brainstorming your MVP, figuring out your tech stack, or anything else, feel free to reach out. Happy to point you in the right direction!
Wow, thank you so much 🎊.
