Building products in the age of complexity

Hello,

Long time lurker here and long-suffering indie hacker (building an inclusive hiring platform - not a developer though so that's proving... fun...)

I'm working on a talk about building tech products in the complex landscape of the 21st century.

(Think social instability, low barrier to entry, high competition and fast-paced technology advances).

I love a good bit of community input and would love to get your thoughts on how you approach releasing a product into extremely complex marketplaces:

Do you care? Do you have a strategy? How do you adapt quickly to changing conditions? Does the state of the world atm put you off releasing anything at all?

If I use your answer in the talk you will absolutely be credited in-full and so will the lovely Indie Hackers community <3

Hi! Yes, I do care. I tend to keep my rule of thumb: don’t plan ahead more than 6 months ahead, but have a vision. Vision > strategy > tactics. Vision being most abstract! Hope this helps!
