Some time ago, I noticed something strange: I was constantly tired.
Even after events that should have been energizing.
To understand why, I started logging my energy levels several times a day (1–10) and adding short notes about what I was doing.
A few weeks of tracking exposed patterns I would have never seen:
some activities and people drained me - I went partying with some people, and people usually have fun and relax, but I was very low on energy and mood after. At the same time, I found a few unexpected things that consistently boosted me.
Changing my routine around those insights made a real difference.
I decided to build a clean and simple app that helps people with just this specific thing, which really helped me.
Using React Native + Supabase — and generating all code through LLM prompts — I shipped the first version to the App Store in two weeks. I built mobile apps before with a team of developers, so I was extremely surprised by the results in just two weeks.
It’s called My Energy Tracker.
A simple tool to log energy, add quick context, and review patterns over time.
Free to use.

Now I’m trying to find my audience.
I’ll test a few FB/Instagram ads to validate messaging, but I’m looking for better low-cost or free channels to reach people who care about self-improvement and quantified self. Do you guys have any creative ideas? Like free or super cheap channels for this kind of app? Would really appreciate it.
Also, if you’re thinking about building a mobile app and don’t know where to start, feel free to contact me. I’m happy to share how I built this from scratch, the stack I used, and how AI helped me ship fast.
Building from personal need is a strong start — the tricky part is knowing when that insight generalizes beyond you.
At this stage, what’s the one user behavior you’re watching to know the energy tracker is actually helping people make better decisions, not just log data?
