Building SERAPHIM: How I Launched a Faith-Based Telegram App

After months of planning and development, I recently launched SERAPHIM, a faith-based Telegram mini-app that combines daily Bible inspiration, gamified tasks, and token rewards. Here's how the journey unfolded and what I learned along the way:

The Idea

SERAPHIM was born out of a desire to make faith-based engagement accessible and rewarding. I wanted to create something simple yet impactful—an app that could inspire users daily while encouraging them to stay consistent with their spiritual growth.

The Challenges

  • Finding the right balance: Combining meaningful content with gamification without losing focus on spirituality was tricky.

  • Telegram integration: Adapting the app to work smoothly within Telegram while keeping the experience lightweight and intuitive.

  • Token rewards: Designing a system that feels valuable but also aligns with the app’s mission.

What I Did to Prepare for Launch

  1. Researched user needs: I spoke with potential users to understand their challenges in staying spiritually connected.

  2. Built an MVP: Focused on delivering core features—daily Bible verses, inspirational quotes, and simple tasks with rewards.

  3. Tested with real users: Early feedback helped refine the interface and improve usability.

  4. Kept it simple: Prioritized minimalism in design to ensure it didn’t overwhelm the user.

  5. Created a roadmap: Future updates will include advanced gamification, token listing, and more community features.

The Response So Far

The reception has been heartwarming. Users have shared how the app has helped them stay consistent in their faith and brought a sense of joy to their daily routines. It’s still early days, but seeing people connect with SERAPHIM motivates me to keep improving.

What’s Next?

I’m focusing on scaling the app, adding more features, and enhancing the token rewards system. The goal is to make SERAPHIM not just an app but a companion for daily inspiration and growth.

I’d love to hear your thoughts—what would you add to an app like this? How do you stay connected to your daily inspiration?
