Lately I’ve been working on payment integration and testing for my invoicing SaaS.
Most of the core product is already built.
Creating invoices.
Managing clients.
PDF generation.
Plans and subscriptions.
But now I’m at the stage where small details suddenly feel very important.
Things like:
What happens if a payment fails?
Does the upgrade flow make sense?
Is onboarding clear enough?
Will a new user understand the product in the first few minutes?
The interesting part is that none of these feel like “features”.
They’re trust decisions.
And I’m starting to realize that users notice friction much faster than they notice functionality.
Curious if other founders felt the same shift near launch.
