Hi IndieHacker folks.
I built Bookhead, software for independent bookstores. I've been going slow and not always very steady over the past few years. I'm working freelance now to give me more free time to focus on it, becoming more steady.
I'm having some momentum right now and it's partly because I was motivated by a new strategy after reading this blog by Joel Spolsky via Gwern: https://www.joelonsoftware.com/2002/06/12/strategy-letter-v/
I'm not sure if the ideas from the blog fit my strategy exactly but it's kind of interesting to think about how to apply the blog's idea of "commoditizing the complements" to a small scale like my business, especially because I'm working in a specific niche: the book industry. I wrote about the idea within the context of my business if you'd like to hear about my thoughts: https://bookhead.net/blog/fragmented/
