Building UnithMed — A Free Cost-Checking Platform for Medical Travel to China

Hi everyone, I’m Caine, founder of UnithMed.

I started this project because I’ve seen so many people struggling with the high cost of medical care in the US and other countries. Medical costs in China are generally much lower, but for someone coming from abroad, the system is difficult to navigate. There’s a lot of confusing information, it’s hard to get clear pricing, and the logistics of traveling for treatment can be overwhelming.

I built UnithMed to help bridge that gap. We focus on:

• Getting clear price estimates: I work directly with hospitals to get you actual quotes for procedures.

• Connecting you with doctors: I help communicate your specific health needs to the medical team to see what options are available.

• On-the-ground support: If you choose to come to Chongqing or Shanghai, I can help you with the practical side of things—like navigating the hospital process or handling the language barrier.

I’m currently working with partner hospitals in Chongqing and Shanghai and am offering free consultations for anyone who wants to see if this is a viable option for them.
