Building Unwall and helping everyone pitch better

Hey IH, long-time lurker, first-time “Show” poster.
9 months ago I was sitting in a cafe, voice-memoing my seed pitch to myself for the 47th time, sounding like absolute garbage, and pissed off for the actual VC meeting I just had.

I’ve been through YC interviews twice (didn’t get in either time — ouch), raised an angel round, and watched friends raise $3-10M… and literally everyone has the same problem:
You get one 10–20 minute first meeting with a dream firm.
You will never be as prepared as you think.
One freeze, one weak answer, one “Uber for X” that you can’t defend = dead.
So I built the thing I wished existed: Unwall.
What it actually does
You talk out loud (web or iOS) to AI versions of real VCs

They interrupt, push back, roast you, force you to defend every weak spot — exactly like the real people do.
Example from yesterday (real session, anonymized):
Founder: “We’re building AI agents for construction sites…”
AI Sequoia: “Execution risk here is insane. Why wouldn’t Bechtel just copy you in 6 months?”
Founder fumbles → rewinds → fixes it with LOIs and on-site embeds → AI instantly: “Okay, now I’m listening. What’s GTM?”
18 minutes later the founder went from “this feels dead” to “I’d take this meeting.”
The ugly numbers so far

Built completely solo (Next.js + OpenAI Realtime API + ElevenLabs)
~15 founders used the free version so far (just started)

One YC F25 founder told me it was “the unfair advantage” for their mock interview

Yesterday I flipped the switch to paid
Free tier is now limited (a few sessions), full version is $15/mo.
First 100 IH people get lifetime for $99 and commenting in on the post

Why charge now?

OpenAI Realtime is expensive as hell when people talk for 30+ minutes
I want to keep adding every top VC as people request them (already have 8 more in the queue)
Honestly — I need to eat and keep building full-time

If you’re raising in the next 90 days, seriously try it once. Worst case you get roasted by AI Paul Graham and have a funny story.
